One of the biggest names on the Birmingham grime scene, Mayhem brings in two of his best known neighbours, Mez and C4, in the weighty collaboration ‘Cash Flow’.
Shelling down with a plethora of energy their bars palpitate through the epic instrumental. They each step to the plate delivering all out vibes on this huge serving of unadulterated grime. The visuals premiered via SBTV and the track is taken off Mayhem NODB’s seventeen track mixtape titled ‘Mr HazeuM’, which is available to stream and download now and has already been smashing the grime circuit at large. Mayhem recently took to BBC Radio 1Xtra for Sir Spyro’s grime show to shell down a wicked man freestyle that is due to drop on Friday 27th April.
As part of the rich Midlands music scene Mayhem NODB has been a constant and consistent flag flyer for grime. His fan base reaches all corners of the UK and he’s not only renowned for being one of the founding members of N.O.D.B, but also part of the StayFresh crew, both of which have pushed the boundaries and helped spearhead the local scene to world recognition. His personal catalogue of music includes projects such as ‘Mr Splash’, ‘Its Peakum’ and ‘Gassum The Mixtape’, featuring the likes of Big Narstie, Jaykae, Safone, Deadly and Swifta Beater. He has received a wealth of support from radio stations such as Radio 1Xtra, Radio 1, Kiss FM, Radar Radio, Rinse FM, and Silk City, whilst at live shows he’s graced the stage at Alexandra Palace alongside Skepta. He has featured in Channel 4 documentary Pirate Mentality alongside many of the genre’s founders and innovators including Kano, Tinchy Stryder, Chip and Slimzee, putting him firmly on the map with the greatest names in the scene.
Mayhem has continuously pushed the boundaries and with his latest release ‘Cash Flow’ and the solid body of work it is taken from, he stands firm in his position of a grime king.
